Flood warden training

Flood warden training is delivered virtually via Microsoft Teams, accessible for free via a smartphone, tablet or computer.

Tuesday 19 September 23 and

 

Wednesday 8 November 23

 

Time: 7pm - 9pm

Virtual Kent-wide session open to all members of the public, including:

 

  • new flood warden volunteers, new volunteers only need to attend ONE session.

  • existing wardens who would like to refresh their training

  • the voluntary sector

  • Parish Councillors.

​

Modules will include: the role of a flood warden, types of flooding, flood and weather warnings, catchment information, safety information and next steps.
