Flood warden training
This autumn we will be delivering our flood warden training virtually across the county, via Zoom, an online video app accessible for free via a smartphone, tablet or computer. The training is free to attend and takes just two hours to complete.
Tuesday 10 November 7.00 - 9.00pm
Virtual session for our existing flood wardens.
Content to be agreed but possibly including some new training modules on coordinating spontaneous volunteers, pandemic training, as well as winter readiness advice.
We'd love to hear your progress with your Personal Flood Plan, Community Flood Plan or Property Flood Resilience measures. Please let us know any other subjects you would like us to cover.

Virtual Kent-wide session open to all members of the public, including:

existing wardens who would like to refresh their training

the voluntary sector

Parish Councillors.
Modules will include: the role of a flood warden, types of flooding, flood and weather warnings, catchment information, safety information and next steps.
