Risks

The publication and maintenance of a local Community Risk Register is a statutory requirement under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004. Its purpose is to provide an agreed position on the risks affecting a local area and to help organisations to prioritise and prepare for those risks. The Kent Community Risk Register also helps to assure the people of Kent that an assessment of potential risks has taken place and is informing the approach to joined up emergency planning both locally and at the regional and national level.
